Why does this continue?
why i take photos
I photograph ordinary spaces shaped by human intention—often after that intention has faded.
I’m drawn to moments where systems continue, objects remain, and order persists without clear purpose. My work looks for traces of presence in places that feel unattended, where effort outlasts its reason and meaning is unresolved.
Influenced by ideas of impermanence and the absurd, I use photography as a way to sit with these conditions rather than explain them.
I don’t want images that ask “What does this mean?” - but rather: “Why does this continue?”
